So.... I'm a neutrois demigirl and I'm realizing that's been putting in perspective a lot of my recent fashion instincts. I've been gravitating towards curve-reducing compression layers underneath flowy loose layers. (Although I've also noticed the flowy-ness is situational. If I'm going to be in a thinky, introverted, task oriented situation like work I want my hair up in a braid-bun and no flappy stuff in my clothes. If I'm going into some networking or going to some social cause event and I am oriented towards extroverted people connecting-ness suddenly I find myself wanting my hair long and wavy and my outer layer loose and flowy)
I haven't been wearing actual bras much outside of interviews for months.... cotton plain tank tops instead that neither compress nor push up. I've also been wearing a lumbar brace for my back sometimes (one reason I got the tank tops was to put a sweat-absorbing layer under the lumbar brace) and realizing I like the compression and curve reduction (it kinda makes my hips less noticeable)
I've wanted some higher back support and I came across this www.amazon.com/Womdee-Support-Posture-Corrector-Accessory/dp/B00HNM0XI2/ref=sr_1_20?s=apparel&ie=UTF8&qid=1405803156&sr=1-20
It's sort of an unbra. It's not really a binder but it's not really a bra either. I plan to wear it over a tank top so I anticipate it will flatten my profile a little but not as much as a binder. It also looks like the largest size I can get through amazon (found this product at other websites but they were all overseas websites and I wanted a website I was more familiar with to mediate the commerce for now) will be a little tight so I got some bra extenders too so I can customize the squish. Because there's no 'cup' the bra extender should be pretty fine even if it's a front closure. I'm really looking forward to trying this out! (and it doesn't look like it will ride up under my arms, I tried a different shoulder posture thing that was basically two loops but it went RIGHT under the arm and hurt too much)
